the coffee hour and fellowship hosted by the Deacons. Thank you!
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The “bring
your coffee cup to church” program is in full swing. Plop your cup in
the soapy water for washing. The blue trash bins are for recycling
clean paper items.

will be meeting Monday, August 23 at 7:00pm at Jean Pekary’s home.
The Friendly Visitor – It’s time to
write that essay “What I Did Last Summer.” Please submit all articles,
announcements, milestones, invitations, etc. for the September
newsletter by Tuesday, August 24. Email to
ccpc3@verizon.net or place it in Ann Cohen’s
church mailbox located by the office.
Youth Group hike in Malibu on
Saturday, August 28. Meet at the church at 10am.
St. Joseph Center Thrift Store Sale

This is a great
place to shop for gently used items, from baby clothes to refrigerators,
and you’re helping to support a wonderful organization. Check it out on
Saturday, August 28 from 10am-5pm located at 1828 Lincoln Blvd. (between
Pico & Michigan near the 10 Freeway).

Mod Martha’s Clown Project – All
hands needed for the assembly of clowns on Wednesday,
September 8 and Wednesday, September 22 in
the Social Hall from 9am-Noon and in the evening from 6:30-9:30pm both
days. Clown Sunday will be October 17.

Sunday, September 12 from noon to 8pm located at Windward Ave. @ Ocean
